01 EUROPE
– DELHI
Arrive Delhi by International flight.
Meeting & Assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel.
(Check in 12Noon). Afternoon sightseeing tour of New Delhi visiting Parliament House, India Gate, Government Buildings , Pass through Connaught Place and Qutab Minar.Overnight at the hotel
Day 02 DELHI– LEH
Early morning transfer Airport to connect flight to Leh.
On arrival at Leh airport, our representative at the airport will meet you
and transfer to Hotel. Complete day for the acclimatization, as Leh being
at 3500 Mtrs above sea level. In the evening short walk around the Leh bazaar.
Overnight at Hotel.
Day 03 LEH – MONASTRIES 90 Kms.
Full day excursion to Ladakh famous monasteries, it is interesting to visit
early in the morning to enjoy the praying Ceremony at Thiksey monastery. Continue
drive to Hemis monastery, which is one of the most famous monastery of the
Ladakh region. On the way back visit to Shey Palace. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 04 LEH – MONASTRIES 40 Kms.
Morning half-day tour of Spituk and Phyang Monastery.. Afternoon visit by
foot to Kings Palace, Leh Gompa, Shankar Gompa and Leh Bazaar. Overnight at
Hotel
Day 05 LEH–KHARDONGLA PASS –LEH 85Kms
Day excursion to Khardongla pass, which is the highest motorable pass in the
world 5600 Mtrs and has been recorded in the Gunnies Book of World Records.
At the top enjoy the nature beauty of snow-capped mountains. In the late afternoon
return back to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 06 LEH – ALCHI 72 Kms.
Leave for Alchi monastery, known as Alchi Choskor and is the only monastery
in the Ladakh on flat ground. On the way visit Bazgo Castle lie on the right
bank of the Indus. By the lunch time we reach Alchi. Afternoon visit the Alchi
monastery and explore the nature beauty of Alchi village. Overnight at Hotel/Guest
House.
Day 07 ALCHI – LAMAYURU – LEH 168 Kms.
Leave Alchi and continue drive to Lamayuru via Khalsi (passport checking point).
From here another 22 kms drive will take us to Lamayuru. The oldest and spectacularly
set Lamayuru monastery was founded in the 10th Century and is one of the most
interesting Monasteries of Ladakh. Visit the monastery. In the late afternoon
drive back to Leh, which is 4/5 hours, drive. Overnight at Hotel
Day 08 LEH – DELHI
Transfer in time to the airport to connect onward destination flight.
Meeting & Assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel The Park/Siddharth. Afternoon sightseeing tour of Old Delhi. Overnight at hotel.
Day 09 DELHI – EUROPE
In time transfer International Airport to connect flight back to Europe.
